Russell Thomson

Russell has made Naples, Florida his home since 2018. Russell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Clemson University and a Juris Doctor degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.

Russell is a second-generation attorney. He devoted the first 14 years of practicing law handling insurance defense cases. For the last 4 years, Russell has practiced on the first party plaintiff side suing insurance companies who failed to adequately pay business owners or homeowners for their property damage claims. Russell has worked on a wide array of claims from multi-million-dollar condo complexes and hotels to residential homes. Having handled property damage claims on the insurance defense side for well over a decade, Russell gives Broussard | Dove and his clients a unique insight and advantage to force insurance companies to pay the full value a claim.
Russell is admitted to the practice of law in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. In addition to hurricane claims, Russell also handles civil litigation matters related to construction defects, business, and real estate.

Outside of the office, Russell enjoys being with his family, traveling, and cheering for the Clemson Tigers.
